Location : Bishan Street 12

Position : Receptionist cum Admin Assist

Salary ranges from $1,400 - $1,500/mth depends on qualification and relevant working experience.

February 2020 - January 2021 (11 months 29 days)

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 7.00 am to 4:30pm, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break.

  • Fridays: 7.00 am to 4.00 pm, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break.

  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:

  1. Man reception counter (customer service).

  2. Answer telephone calls.

  3. Attend to outgoing and incoming faxes.

  4. Attend to sick/injured students.

  5. Data Entry work (including typing of document, preparing excel worksheets and power point presentations).

  6. Prepare dispatch pouch to MOE HQ for courier pick-up and sort contents of dispatch pouch from MOE HQ and direct correspondences to relevant staff for action.

  7. Monitor staff attendance record.

  8. Sort mails and direct correspondences to relevant staff for action.

  9. Duplicate relevant circulars, policies etc. for teachers’/staff’s retention.

  10. Filing of documents.

  11. Maintain the mail trays in the General Office.

  12. Maintain the form trays in the General Office.

  13. Monitor and collation of submission of forms by students.

  14. Pack and distribute information, posters, leaflets etc. for pupils and teachers.

  • Assist in maintaining stationery store.

  1. Other duties as assigned by the school (the above list of job scope is not exhaustive).

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • GCE ‘O’ level.

  • Have preferably at least 1 year of administrative experience in a school environment.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Responsible, industrious, independent,   organized, meticulous, pleasant and an excellent team-player.

  • Good communication and inter-personal skills.

•             Able to converse and write in English.   Preferably with another official language ability.
