Job Description

OVERVIEW

We are looking for an IT Operation Manager who will be leading the IT Team (comprising of engineers in multiple geographies) to manage the IT systems, services and servers for our global offices You will ensure the smooth maintenance and upgrades of the Microsoft Enterprise Systems (Office365, Active Directory, SCOM, MS-SQL Cluster, Windows Server OS, VPN, Firewall, Internet connectivity via Wireless/LAN)

Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing IT policies to enhance technical support workflows, provide recommendations to optimise performance and improve existing tools for the organisation

RESPONSIBILITIES



Direct IT Technicians



Direct the activities of Team members, both to directly support end users and to assist with IT department upgrades and directives

Assess department needs and help desk inquiries and assigns personnel to resolve each issue





Monitor IT Servers and Systems



Monitor servers, networks, and systems for irregularities and performance issues

Assess system data and error logs, along with user reports, to determine areas for improvement or repair





Develop IT Policies



Develop IT policies and procedures to ensure that the department operates effectively and reliably

Develop guides for users and technicians, such as FAQ documents or employee handbooks for IT department personnel





Resolve Help Desk Escalations



Provide user support by handling help desk through ticket or escalations





Oversee Upgrades and Installations



Oversee activities while upgrading systems and servers and migrating the organization’s data

Streamline the upgrade process, monitor the system to ensure that it remains stable and usable, and maintain data security through the migration process







REQUIREMENTS



Common Skill



English proficiency in an engineering work environment and documentation

10+ years of experience in Microsoft system management and troubleshooting

3+ years of experience as a Team Leader

Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSCF, VPN





Engineering Skill



5+ years hands-on experience with Office365/Azure management and troubleshooting

3+ years hands-on experience with ADDS (Active Directory Domain Services) management and troubleshooting







Preferred Skills and Experiences



Work experience in Office365 and Azure

Work experience MS-SQL

Work experience Mac OS and Linux

MCSE preferred
