Summary of Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Manager is to manage and monitor the implementation and/or development of technology initiatives and programs.  This position is responsible for all project management activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports IT strategies and programs for the overall objectives of the Company
  • Develop project plans for small to large sized projects based on defined high level priorities and business requirements
  • Manages the project budget, scope, and schedule
  • Identifies and document any changes made to original project scope and communicate with stakeholders
  • Validates project deliverables against scope and quality expectations and participate in project stage-gates, identifying opportunities for execution and process improvement
  • Identifies and manage project issues and risks throughout the life of the project, developing action and contingency plans as appropriate
  • Communicates with executive staff and project stakeholders, manages escalations, controls scope creep and reports on project progress
  • Makes recommendations regarding policies, standards and guidelines
  • Assists in the creation of IT standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Creates and maintain process flow diagrams
  • Ensures compliance with business standards and procedures by analyzing and measuring against current processes
  • Assists in closing out audit items and continuous monitoring of risk assessment plans
  • Effectively communicates and organizes the change management process
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


Education & Certification

  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Business related field, or equivalent required
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, SixSigma, and ITIL preferred


  • 8+ years of IT industry experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant project management experience
  • Experience working with cross functional, and global teams
  • Proven experience delivering large complex global projects
  • Experience working at/with large global companies, preferably in the gaming or hospitality industries
  • Advanced experience with project management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and ServiceNow


  • Ability to effectively manage/execute multiple projects concurrently
  • Familiar with ITIL processes, policies and procedures
  • Ability to travel globally as needed
  • Ability to lead and direct technical individuals towards a common unified goal
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively within a rapidly changing and growing environment
  • Strong strategic thinking including analytical and financial planning skills to meet and exceed goals
  • Strong success in recruiting, motivating, conflict resolution, and coaching
