It has achieved both the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Core and Shell (LEED-CS) Platinum certification by the US Green Building Council and Green Mark Platinum Award by BCA and making it one of Asia's greenest buildings
This is a dual role which requires the person to take on day-to-day property management duties and also lead building sustainability The person must possess good, in-depth and practical ACMV & Mechanical & Electrical knowledge and experience He/she is also expected to develop and promote sustainable practices with a view to optimise operational costs
Your key responsibilities are
Maintain the efficient operations of all plants, equipment and systems within the building to ensure the operations are in safe and efficient manner;Responsible for the overall day to day maintenance and operations of M&E Systems in the building including ACMV, Plumbing, Sanitary and Gas, Water Features, IBMS, PV Cells and Hot Water System and taking charge of the appointed Technical Services vendor;Monitor and maintain the efficient operations of the M&E systems to ensure the operations are in safe and efficient manner and ensure that they are operating as per design intent;Develop and monitor preventive maintenance plan for the M&E system;Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities to ensure contractors / vendors and technicians complete all repair and maintenance work within the required timelines and standards;Carry out ad-hoc project works to enhance the M&E and Sustainability system including putting up Expense Approval and Proposal Paper for approval;Member of CERT TeamOperating GreenWork closely with consultants to ensure compliance for Green Mark verifications and re-certification;Analysis of utilities consumption (Electricity, Water & Chilled Water) and take appropriate actions to minimise wastage and maximise efficiency;Procurement of Electricity from Energy Market;Plan and execute all procurement activities for the maintenance services of the M&E system;Forecast, plan and prepare annual marketing budget and monitor expenditure within the approved budget;Member of the Green Steering Committee and Chairman of the Green Working Committee including Tenant Sub-Committee;Leading the Sustainability JourneyFormulate and implement sustainability management plan in line with BCA’s Green Mark and LEEDS certification requirements;Organize regular meetings for Green Committee to share data and best practises, implement new initiatives and organise green activities;Develop and manage Reduce, Reuse and Recycle strategies and program with tenant’s participation that are aligned with the corporate policy targets
You possess a Degree or Diploma in Estate Management/Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of working experience in managing commercial buildings or mixed developmentsMost importantly, you also possess complementary knowledge of operations, maintenance and related local ordinances for Green Building Operation with professional certification in sustainability and energy audit (Green Mark Facilities Manager, LEEDS etc)
